• Botanical name: Caragana arborescens 'Durswoth'

• Origin: Selected from an open-pollinated seedling population of Common Caragana in Edmonton, Alberta. Introduced by Mr. Rick Durand of Prairie Shade Nursery.

• Hardiness: Zone 2 (Canadian and USDA)

• Growth Rate: Medium to fast.

• Description: An upright selection of Common Caragana. Very upright branching and absence of suckering make this selection a valuable accent in the harsh prairie landscape.

• Landscape Value: Excellent in residential and parkway plantings. A good choice for small spaces.
