VENTURA™  MAPLE

• Botanical name: Acer x 'Ventura'

• Origin: A hybrid seedling from a cross between Tatarian and Amur Maple. Selected by Mr. Rick Durand of Prairie Shade Nursery. 

• Hardiness: Zone 2 (Canadian and USDA)

• Growth Rate: Medium to fast; mature size: 20 feet x 15 feet.

• Description: A tree-form selection from a Tatarian x Amur Maple cross. This vigorous grower retains its upright form and tolerates alkaline soils. Attractive orange-red fall colour.

• Landscape Value: Excellent in residential and parkway plantings. A good choice for smaller spaces.
