• Botanical name: Eleagnus x  'Jefmorg'

• Origin: An introduction from Jeffries Nurseries Ltd. in conjunction with Greg Morgenson of Lincoln Oakes Nursery in North Dakota. Hybrid between Russian Olive and Silverberry (Wolf Willow).

• Hardiness: Zone 2 (Canadian and USDA)

• Growth Rate: A vigorous plant developing into a medium height shrub.

• Description: A distinctive shrub with silvery-white foliage. Ornamental traits include sterile fruit and reduced suckering. Retains salt and drought tolerance of Russian Olive.

• Landscape Value: Use in mass plantings such as naturalization projects and bank stabilization.
