Botanical name: Monarda didyma 'ACrade'

Origin: A new perennial introduction from the Morden Research Station that complements their recent Monarda introductions.

Hardiness: Zone 3 (Canadian and USDA)

Growth Rate: The plant grows to 45 cm in height.

Description: This exciting new herbaceous perennial produces an abundance of bright lavender purple flowers on top of a very compact, mid-sized plant that has attractive deep green foliage.  Excellent mildew resistance.

Landscape Value: A colourful, prairie hardy perennial with good resistance to powdery mildew. Well suited to a wide variety of sites.
