Description:
Similar in shape to the American Elm but is 30%
smaller. Instead of the irregular and broad-shaped
crown of other Japanese Elms, Discovery has
symmetrical branching. The tree maintains an
upright form during the juvenile stage and
develops the classic vase-shaped elm crown form
as it approaches maturity. Produces an
insignificant amount of seed.
